A problem that I had (and still sometimes struggle with) is consuming way too much processed sugar, and LOVING every bite! I used to be able to easily down 12 Krispy Kreme donuts in one sitting. I still can but my stomach would hurt so bad for the next 3-4 hours that it wouldn’t be worth it.
A quick recipe I found online and tired has turned out to be one of the best tricks to make my stomach think its getting something sweet!
All you need is 3 kinds of fresh fruit 1 1/2 cups each. (3 that mix well) I recommend berries or tropical blends, 3 cups of yogurt, 3 tbs of honey and a sheet cake baking pan. This recipe is so easy and its a good sweet snack when you need something to curb that sweets craving.
- Put fruit in 3 separate bowls and heat for 60 seconds. Immediately mash with spoon or fork.
2. Add 1 cup of plain greek yogurt & 1 tbs of honey to each bowl and mix thoroughly.
3. Spread in layers on baking sheet and freeze for 45-60 minutes.
Honestly, Its one of my new favorite things to snack on! If you don’t think it is sweet enough you can always add extra honey or fruit.
